Amazon and Corning Sign Multi-Billion Dollar Fiber Optic Manufacturing Deal

Amazon has entered a multibillion-dollar agreement with Corning Incorporated to expand optical fiber and cable production in the United States. The investment will increase manufacturing capacity, create around 1,000 jobs in North Carolina, and support the rapidly growing demand for AI data centers and cloud infrastructure.
